depending on his current mood and state of mind, his reaction to someone showing romantic interest in you ranges from:

1) heartache,

feels like he doesn't deserve you, that he isn't good enough for you, he's not your type and also he is too old for you

self-esteem on the floor, feels like a kicked puppy seeing you flirt with someone else

over 2) mild annoyance; 'what's so interesting about them?'

what could they possible give you? why are you even talking to them, you already said you aren't interested in them

to 3) almost hostile towards the other person

all in all just one big mess of feelings

he's not good with them okay

confused and frustrated by his emotions; spends a lot of time overthinking them, in order to rationalise and understand them

too insecure and doubtful to tell you about his feelings, but too easily agitated to not be jealous when someone comes up to ask for your number

tells himself he has no right to feel that way, and yet...

in relationship:

protective and maybe a little possessive. maybe a bit more than a little. okay, a lot

definitely a lot more than he shows

that man was bullied his entire youth, never had a proper relationship and holds so much trauma and shame - it's the glue that holds him together at this point

ford is deeply afraid to loose you

through something supernatural or otherwise dangerous yes, but also trough some stupid mistake on his side and interpersonal problems

he is afraid he will mess up one day. then you will start seeing him as someone not worthy of your love and find someone better

it is one constant battle between his low self-worth and his god complex/admittedly somewhat inflated ego

I think at it's core one of the reasons why I hate show creators like Thomas Astruc (Miraculous) and Chris Sonnenburg (Tangled The Series), but I still haven't felt any reason to hate Viv even after being here for more than a year, is because TA and CS are infamously known for shitting on literally everyone else, including their own team and fans, because they are so far up their own ass, they can only ever see their own ideas as good.

Meanwhile whenever I look at Viv, literally all I see is a passionnate, ambitious, creative woman who's constantly supportive of her team, willing to work together and so supportive of her fans. Telling them there's nothing wrong with straying away from canon, to just do their own thing and have fun with it.

And in a recent panel at GalaxyCon Viv even made a whole speech about how she technically doesn't even mind if people criticize her shows, it's just the constant attacks on her and her team, and acting entitled to a version of HH/HB the shows were never meant to be that she understandably has a problem with.

Hi!!! I actually DO have some designs of the siblings, had to sit and make them as they've just been living in my head lol

So, I kind of keep things kind of vague since you know, it's a reader insert and everybody is different in terms of looks, BUT as mentioned in the fic, Gabe take's after Rick for sure. So he's got his dad's eyes and hair color. I imagine when he gets older his hair will also get a little curlier as well. Otherwise, just your typical baby, which I'm not good with drawing kids so he is 100% based on a ref lmao (and yes, those are Bonnie Bowl pjs Lisa picked out for him)

Lisa on the other hand looks more like Reader/Reader's mom. Therefore, her design has a lot more range for being open to interpretation. She got the curls from Rick/his family tho :) She likes skirts bc she believes them to be 'perfect for battles of all kinds'. She also did NOT lose that tooth by headbutting a kid at recess she would NEVER do such a thing-

As for writing, I love it very much! Confused Spirit is my first published piece of writing in a while, (I hadn't posted anything for a year and a half before that, six months probably since the last time I wrote) so if you're curious that's why I always get so overly excited when people like the fic haha

I did a quick-ish brainstorm of as many characters as I could remember and, like the dork that I am, put them all in a spreadsheet so I could count. I knew there would be trends and that it would almost definitely be "A" or "R" as the most common first initial for my characters. (And then NEITHER WAS) I figured "J" was going to have a much stronger showing, but apparently not... Maybe I just feel like there's more Js because they tend to congregate when they're in the same story...

Top 5 initials were:

C - 20 entries (10.7%)

A - 18 entries (9.6%)

R - 16 entries (8.6%)

K - 13 entries (6.9%)

S - 11 entries (5.8%)

Also, I am legitimately surprised that I have used each letter at least once for everyone I came up with.
